Our goal is to get the social and emotional development for all our kids on track, and ready for school.
We use a holistic approach to address the needs of the entire household. Teachers, parents, center directors, family advocates, and mental health specialists collaborate on a regular basis to craft a plan tailored to each individual child's needs.
All our preschool classrooms provide mental health consultations, and have integrated a trauma-informed care framework into their programming. YMCA of the East Bay maintains strong partnerships with school districts and community organizations so we can connect kids and families to critical services and support.
