Gifts of real estate can offer substantial tax and other benefits, all while making an impact at the YMCA of the East Bay. The sale of a home, second home, commercial building, or investment property can all be donated outright or as part of your planned gift.
Charitable Remainder Trusts
A charitable remainder trust is a tax-exempt irrevocable trust designed to reduce the taxable income of individuals by first dispersing income to the beneficiaries of the trust for a specified period of time and then donating the remainder of the trust to the designated charity.
Charitable Gift Annuity
A charitable gift annuity is a great way to benefit you and the organization. You transfer your cash or property to our organization and we promise to make fixed payments to you for life at a rate based on your age.
Charitable IRA Rollover
The IRA Charitable Rollover tax incentive allows individuals age 70½ and older to donate up to $100,000 from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and Roth IRAs to public charities without having to count the distributions as taxable income.
Bequests and Estate Plans
A bequest is a gift from your estate—a transfer of cash, securities, or other property—made through your estate plans.
